matchpoint is the AI-data division of MatchPoint Studio (“matchpoint,” “we”). This policy explains what personal data we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Information you give us — your name, email, phone, location/region, device details, and the recordings and files you upload. Information collected automatically — device, browser, approximate location, and usage data via cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information

To operate the platform, match you to projects, review and pay for accepted work, deliver data to our clients consistent with your consent, communicate with you, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, we process personal data to perform our contract with you, with your consent (for example, the use of your recordings), for our legitimate interests, and to comply with law.

How we share

With service providers acting on our behalf; with the AI and robotics clients who license accepted data, consistent with your consent; in connection with a business transaction; and where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Your recordings

How your recordings may be used is governed by the Participant Agreement and the consent you provide. You can withdraw consent to future use at any time — see “Your rights.”

Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise them.

International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries, using appropriate safeguards where required.

Children

The platform is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
