Participant Agreement

About this agreement

This Participant Agreement governs your work contributing data to matchpoint. By applying or submitting recordings, you agree to it.

Independent contractor

You are an independent contractor, not an employee. You control how and when you work and are responsible for your own taxes.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and able to provide the data you submit lawfully.

The work

You record simple, agreed tasks to a specification we provide. Participation is voluntary and you choose how much to do.

Pay

We publish the rate before you start and pay for the work we accept, on the schedule we share up front. There is never a fee to join or to get paid.

License you grant

For recordings we accept and pay for, you grant matchpoint and its clients a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works for developing and training AI and for related purposes. You keep ownership of your underlying footage.

Consent and withdrawal

You consent to the collection and use described here and in your project brief. You may withdraw consent to future use at any time; data already delivered to a client under a prior license may continue to be governed by that license.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you have the right to record and share what you submit; that you will not capture other people’s private or sensitive information without their consent; and that you will follow safety and content guidelines.

Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Termination

Either of us may end this relationship at any time. Terms that should survive — license, consent, and disclaimers — survive termination.

Disclaimers and liability

Work is provided on an “as is” basis, and our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of [State/Country].
